StoryToast (“we”, “us”) operates https://storytoast.app, a service that helps users create personalized wedding speeches. Contact: hello@storytoast.app.

• Interview content: the stories, names, and details you share during the speech interview. This may include information about third parties (the couple, wedding guests) that you choose to provide.
• Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We never receive or store your card details. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data: https://stripe.com/privacy.
• Technical data: standard server logs and analytics (IP address, browser type, pages visited) used to operate and improve the service.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your stories for advertising or to train our own models.

Your interview responses are processed by Anthropic's Claude API to generate your speech. This processing is subject to Anthropic's data usage policies. We send only the content needed to write your speech.

Your generated speech and interview content are stored locally in your browser (session storage), not on our servers. Closing your browser session removes this data from your device. Payment records are retained by Stripe as required by financial regulations.

Where GDPR applies, we process your data on the basis of: contract performance (generating your speech), legitimate interests (service operation and security), and legal obligations (payment records).

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email hello@storytoast.app. EEA/UK users may also lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority.

We use: Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic (AI processing). Each processes data under its own privacy terms and applicable data processing agreements.

StoryToast is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
